Lve Wang graduated from San Francisco University of the Arts; Lve Wang's work is in the public collections of White Rabbit Galley and Sydney Museum of Contemporary Chinese Art.
Lve Wang is adept at drawing on familiar Eastern and Western elements, investigating the possibilities of repetition and stacking of elements, the complementarity between the real and the virtual, the linguistic nature of general knowledge, and the communicative nature of the simple line, and using these four tools to create images that are mythological in nature. The artist contemplates the origin and creativity of mankind, and in the modern era, what kind of inspiration the influence and role of myth can bring through contemporary expression.
